Geology - Amazonite is a green variety of microcline feldspar coloured by trace lead. It forms in granitic rocks and pegmatites.
Characteristics - Recognised for its blue-green colour, it may show white streaks and has a smooth surface with a soft vitreous lustre.
A beautifully shaped Amazonite obelisk featuring soothing blue-green tones with natural variations and earthy inclusions. Polished into a classic pointed form, this piece highlights the stone’s calming colour and gentle, tranquil appearance. Measuring 70–80mm x 25–30mm.
