Rockshop is a long-established UK crystal and fossil supplier, trusted by museums, educational institutions and specialist retailers worldwide. Founded in 1989, Rockshop combines geological expertise with conscientious sourcing and decades of global supplier relationships.
Now a third-generation family business, Rockshop is led by Jonathan Burhouse, with his two sons joining the expanding company. Inspired by family life and regular visits to the Lake District, Jonathan introduced experiential crystal activities across all Rockshop outlets. For over 13 years, attractions such as the Gem Pit, Bead Bar and Dino Den have enhanced education and engagement within retail environments.
Today, Rockshop supplies natural crystals, fossils, gemstones and educational ranges to customers in over 140 countries, including some of the world’s most respected museums and galleries.
Alongside its physical crystal shops in Ambleside and Matlock Bath, the Crystal Apothecary in Holmfirth and its e-commerce websites, Rockshop offers specialist assistance and help rooted in heritage, innovation and experience.
