The Crystal Apothecary represents the next evolution of Rockshop’s long-standing commitment to hands-on crystal education and discovery. Located near Rockshop’s head office in Holmfirth, the Crystal Apothecary builds on more than 13 years of experiential crystal activities developed across Rockshop’s retail outlets.
Inspired by Jonathan Burhouse, a regular Lake District visitor and father of three, Rockshop’s experiential attractions—the Gem Pit, Bead Bar and Dino Den—have introduced thousands of children and families to the world of natural crystals and gemstones. Now a third-generation family business, with Jonathan’s sons actively involved, Rockshop continues to develop innovative ways to engage new audiences.
